OP-ART LESSON

This Prezi is a presentation about Op-Art. It introduces two artists who are masters at creating Op-Art pieces. Included are pictures, vocabulary, and step-by-step instructions for my class to create their own Op-Art piece. I will emphasize how useful the Prezi tool is for creating a power point for students to share their own works of art with their classmates and their audience outside of the classroom.
Visual Arts (4th Grade)
Standard 1: (Making) The student will explore and refine the application of media, techniques, and artistic processes.
Standard 2: (Perceiving) The students will analyze, reflect on, and apply the structures of art.
EdTech
Standard 5: Use technology tools (e.g., multimedia authoring, presentation, web tools, digital cameras, scanners) for individual and collaborative writing, communication, and publishing activities to create knowledge products for audiences inside and outside the classroom.
